It’s almost time !  Plans for our annual awards luncheon are in full swing, and our 12th one promises to be another great one!  Plan to join us on Sunday, August 16th at the Ocala Hilton on SR 200 from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m.    Tickets are still $20 each in advance, and $25 at the door.  We need to give the Hilton a headcount by Thursday, August 13th, so please get in your reservations beforehand and save a little bit of money!  A cash bar will be provided.

Lori Rice is still gathering items for the silent auction.  Please let her know if you are able to procure some items for the auction (lrice@ufl.edu)   This is our sole yearly fundraising function to raise money for our awards and operating expenses, in order to keep membership fees low.  Thanks to the sponsors of the Special High Score Awards and to our many major sponsors who have been with us through the years – Equiventures, Rocking Horse Stables, Horse Shows in the Park, Partners of the Park, Cavalor, County Saddlery, OBS, and Tack Shack,  We appreciate your continued support!

There are still several High Score Awards that need sponsors  — I hope we can get these covered!  Those of you who have already committed, please send in your donations as soon as possible.

If you are one of our major sponsors, remember you get 2 free tickets to the luncheon.  However, I will still need to know who is coming and if you are bringing a guest.  (just notate it on the luncheon reservation).

We will need some volunteers to help with setup that morning at 9:00, as well as some to help with organizing the silent auction items and collection afterwards.  If you can help, please contact me and sign up.

Please send in your reservations early along with the fee.  Bring a friend or a guest and come join the fun!
