Hi everyone,
Our year is winding down quickly, and we are busy making plans for our annual awards luncheon on Sunday, August 17th at the Ocala Hlton. There are a few more shows this month where you can earn qualifying scores, so remember to send them in as soon as possible so they can be counted toward your year-end Titles.
We are gathering items for our silent auction, and would like to have them all in by August 1st, so that Lori can sort them and make bid sheets ahead of time. Things can get pretty rushed once we get closer to the luncheon! We’d love to have all our members try to gather up merchandise to bid on at the auction, as this is our only fundraiser of the year. It doesn’t have to be “horsey”, either! Contact Lori Rice at lrice@ufl.edu if you have something for the auction.
We are offering several High Score Special Awards again this year. In order to be in the running for these awards, you must email me and sign up for any category you qualify for. I have received a few requests already, but there are several of you who should send in your name to be added to the list – you never know if you might win one of these special awards!! Here are the categories:
