Sinead has been competing at the highest levels since 1999 with her first major win at the US National Championships at Radnor, 2005. She won a silver medal as part of the Nations Cup Team in Holland, 2010. She was the highest placed American at the KY 3DE in 2011 and was the first alternate for the US Eventing team for the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics. She partnered with Selle Francais Manoir de Carneville, known as Tate, to a 2^nd place finish at Burghley in 2012, the highest placing for an American team in 2 decades, earning him USEF Horse of the Year honors. She and husband Tik Maynard and son Brooks, are based at Copperline Farm in Citra, FL.
