Since 2003, FHTA has been working to grow eventing in Florida at the grassroots level by hosting educational activities that introduce riders to our sport and help them improve their competitive skills, horsemanship, and safety.

Members earn awards by accumulating points for scoring clean jumping rounds and qualifying dressage scores at schooling and recognized shows sanctioned by FHTA.

Awards are presented at our August Annual Awards Luncheons, where members and their guests meet to socialize, bid on auction items, hear from top eventers and organizers, and enjoy a delicious meal.

FHTA organizes and hosts an annual Spring Event Camp as well as other clinics and seminars throughout the year for members only.

Our website maintains a calendar of shows and events at sanctioned venues, as well as updates on new and shows.

Our Facebook page provides updates on member activities and group events like tailgating at Live Oak CDE, HITS and WEC, as well as news of vendor discounts.
